This project was accomplished through collaboration with YUKKA and the client to create a natural and harmonious family home. The house is a charming four-bedroom Victorian-style residence, spanning 1,500 square feet and seamlessly blending timeless elegance with contemporary comforts. Revel in breathtaking London vistas from the upper studio and balcony. The meticulously landscaped garden was designed by our in-house landscape designer, Sam.
Our Beckenham project comprises of the demolition of an existing unused single-storey side extension, with a replacement two-storey side extension constructed in its place. The new contemporary two-storey side extension shall provide a new open-plan versatile space, suitable for use as an exercise studio / work-from-home office space to the ground floor, with an additional bedroom and bathroom to the first floor. The project is current awaiting planning approval.
Sunlight House is a Grade II listed mixed-use building, originally designed by Joseph Sunlight. The architectural style is a hybrid of softened modernism and classicism, with some art deco features added to the mix.
While being part of a larger design team, we helped design and obtain a change of use application for this ground floor bar, following the completion of a £4m renovation by Aberdeen Standard Investments.

This involved optimizing space utilization while preserving the historical charm of the residence. The joinery will seamlessly blend tradition with innovation, marrying classic craftsmanship with contemporary design. Arched French doors and windows lead to a skylight, framed by handmade black Roman bricks, adding depth and texture to the exterior aesthetic.

Kyverdale Road is a traditional Victorian terrace house located within the boundaries of The Northwold and Cazenove Conservation Area.
The proposal seeks to extend the width of the existing rear dormer, while improving the interior fit out for the existing entertainment room.
Situated in north London, this two storey Victorian house will be converted into a 5 bedroom house with a basement extension, hosting a new gym / media room. We have been commissioned for interior design and FF&E services across the existing house and new basement. This will be our second project with our clients and we can’t wait to get started in 2022!
We have obtained Full Planning Permission for Princess Crescent. The site is a 3 storey, Victorian terraced residential dwelling, with a cellar and a large rear garden, sitting just outside Stoke Newington Reservoir Conservation Area.
The new side return extension sees the enlargement of the existing kitchen and dining space while overlooking the new study space. The current kitchen lacks natural light through the original glass doors. The new extension will see the current opening enlarged, flooded with natural light, with the help of two new large skylights.
We have been commissioned to design a high-end bar on the ground floor of this 350-year-old building. The site sits within a conservation area, in the heart of Manchester.
Located in west London, 51 Mill Hill Road is a two storey Victorian house situated in the Mill Hill Park Conservation Area. Through careful consideration and development, we have helped our client obtain planning approval for the conversion of a 3 bedroom house, into 4 flats, comprising of two bedroom flat in the newly proposed basement, a two bedroom flat to the ground floor, a two bedroom flat to the first floor and a studio flat to the attic space.
In addition to the approved planning at 51 Mill Hill Road, we have also obtained full planning for the rear garden to be converted into a 5 bedroom house.
Following the completion of this house renovation and extension by the client’s Architect, YUKKA Design was commissioned to design the landscaping for the newly converted family home in north London.
Influenced by the works of Carlo Scarpa, the client commissioned their Architect to design the new extension with dark-treated concrete in mind.
The concept behind the landscape design was to take queue from Carlo Scarpa’s outlook on hard and soft surfaces, where both spoke different languages, yet lived in harmony with one another. The circulated seating arrangement is situated to celebrate the concrete extension while being surrounded by subtle landscape gestures across the garden.
This project was a complete refurbishment of the basement of a Notting Hill townhouse, converting a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom property into a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom home. Every internal wall was removed to ensure the properties potential was fully maximised.
The living space was swapped from the front of the property to the rear, to allow a direct connection and access to the garden. This is enhanced with the use of floor to ceiling glass sliding doors and a floating glass box window seat.The use of exposed brickwork, oak ribs, exposed steel, concrete floors, skylights and bespoke concrete paving give this property warmth and character.
